Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba Thursday while condemning the brutal violence being carried out on Kashmiri prisoners imprisoned in Tihar jail questioned that where are the champions of human rights now who preaches about humanity. Mehmood Shah, the LeT chief in a statement to news agency CNS said that atrocities upon unarmed prisoners are the violation of international laws. He said that Indian army has transformed Kashmir valley into hell on the earth and committing war crimes in the meantime. Indian forces is not only using force but using chemical weapons as well on unarmed peaceful civilians of Jammu-Kashmir which is a heinous war crime, hence India should be declared a terrorist state on this vile act. Mahmood Shah said that ‘biased’ Indian government and media has been putting veil on the atrocities of Indian forces and do shallow propaganda to label the ongoing freedom movement in Kashmir as terrorist activity. International community should take note of Indian atrocities in Kashmir and should play pivotal role and help Kashmiri people in getting self-autonomy recognized by United Nations itself. He said that the solution to the problem of the region is linked to the solution of Kashmir. Therefore if India will not withdraw its forces from Kashmir in near time so this war will reach to the Indian homeland.
